Injection Molding FAQs

Although direct comparisons are difficult, Star Rapid’s prices will be typically 25-45%
less for plastic injection mold when compared to suppliers in North America and
Europe. We choose not to compete on price with other Chinese suppliers; instead, we invest in the highest levels of quality, rapid response, and professional results.

We do not provide a standalone product design service, but we do offer Design for Manufacturing reviews on all approved orders. We will work with you to help optimize your 2D and 3D drawings to improve manufacturability, resolve design conflicts and
lower production costs.

Quality parts can be manufactured in as little as two weeks if you provide complete 2D
and 3D CAD models. More complex parts, or those requiring special features, will take
longer.
To receive more accurate lead times, request a quote so we can review the details of
your project. We typically respond to RFQs within a couple of days. Most of our shipments are made via air freight, which typically takes a few days from China to Europe or North America.
